Scientific collaboration
The Swiss DolorClast® Method is used among members of the Swiss National A Team , at ATP tennis tournaments, and in European football leagues. The AC Milan football club and its scientific research centre, the Milan Lab, has collaborated with EMS in developing use of shockwave therapy to further help the
psychophysical health of athletes. The Milan Lab is viewed as a premier scientific research facility in Italy and respected as the breeding ground for sports-related studies at the club.

The Method has been used successfully since 2004 during the Olympic Games in order to:
> Optimize the team’s results
> Enable athletes to achieve the optimum performance possible
> Reduce the risk of injury
> Quicken recovery and return to competition
