Philippines moves to support shock wave education


Instrumix, the Filipino EMS Swiss DolorClast partner, organized its first SDCA training on August 24 in St Luke's Medical Centre in Manila.
Dr. Reynaldo Rey-Matias, SDCA official local trainer, co-conducted the course with SDCA Indonesian trainer Dr. Arif Soemarjono and provided an intensive and high level shock wave training to participants.

Welcoming delegates for first SDCA course in Bangkok


The first SDCA course organized in the Siriraj private hospital in Bangkok by our local Thai partner BJC had an electrifying impact on the audience !
Over 100 practitioners participated in the course including a mix of rehabilitation doctors, physical therapists, orthopaedic surgeons. The crowd led by Dr. Chakarg Pongurgsorn showed a passionate interest in the use of the Swiss DolorClast Method.

Effectiveness of Allied Health Therapy


Huwellex, the South Korean EMS Swiss DolorClast partner, brilliantly organized on July 23 its third SDCA training course in Seoul St Mary’s Hospital. Dr. Nick Boden, chiropractor from Malaysia, who co-conducted the course with Dr. Jae-Man Lee, local Orthopaedic Surgeon from Physiofit, highlighted the course on “Allied Health Therapy”, a holistic approach commonly used in Australia that aims to prevent, diagnose and treat a range of conditions to provide patients with the best treatment outcomes - 90 to 95% success rate with use of the Swiss DolorClast Method.
Allied Health professionals represent approximately 25% of the Australian health workforce (Health Times source).

China welcomes SDCA shock wave Italian expert

From 23.06.2017 to 02.07.2017

Prof. Antonio Ammendolia, SDCA shock wave expert based in Sicily, shared his clinical expertise to nearly 2,000 Chinese doctors. The topics were focused on the latest shock wave therapy developments and clinical applications.
He stated: “RWST is still new in China, I am willing to share more experiences..., I would like to recommend all doctors who have interests on RSWT to attend SDCA courses, this is so helpful for beginners to build up the right knowledge and treatment method in a professional way.”

Swiss Sports Medical Base in the spotlight


End your working day strong with some tips and tricks from shock wave experts ! 
Over 50 participants enrolled on May 11th on a SDCA evening training session organized in partnership with our Swiss local distributor MTR.
The course was held in Vidy Med, Sport Medical Base approved by Swiss Olympic, and which is one of the biggest medical reference centers in Lausanne.

Boosting shock wave expertise in Israel

From 24.04.2017 to 26.04.2017

Under the guidance of shock wave expert Per Andersen, the 3 successive training courses from April 24 to 26 were held successfully once again at Bepex Headquarters in Even Yehuda. The courses discussed topics such as clinical evidence, recommended hands-on protocols, and tips and tricks provided to participants for optimal treatment results.
Bepex, the local Swiss DolorClast partner, has now started to focus on chiropractors’ needs by offering the Swiss DolorClast Method.

Appeal for shock wave in Taiwan


The recent SDCA course offered by Prof. Dr. Christoph Schmitz in Taiwan and organized by our local partner Meden has proved a big hit with over 100 participants !
The attendees enjoyed and learned a lot from his inspiring lecture and rich experience.

A glance at shock wave education in Malaysia


Tan Woo Teck is one of our official SDCA trainers in Malaysia and the Director of TAGS Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, a division of Tonik Asia Group.
He recently and successfully conducted the first 2017 SDCA course in Malaysia organized by our local partner Evo Performance. He used his extensive knowledge and experience in combining shockwave with traditional physiotherapy during the course.

SDCA Education rises up in China


The SDCA has reinforced its position of leader in the Shock Wave Therapy education thanks to the ISPRM endorsement of workshops in China.
The 1st shock wave training endorsed by the ISPRM will take place in Shenzhen from August 17 to 21, 2017. This commitment will help shock wave therapy be widely applied in developing countries.

China meets SDCA shock wave expert from Australia


Dr. Tina Maio, SDCA official trainer and owner of the Coburg Osteopathic Clinic in Melbourne, Australia, lectured during the 4th Shock Wave Therapy Congress held on December 10 and 11, 2016 in Beijing where she was invited by the Congress Committee of the General Assembly to share her shock wave expertise. 
Nearly 500 doctors and therapists attended this congress and exchanged their experience about shock wave therapy. It played an important role in promoting the development of shock wave therapy in China.

Shock wave training course in South Korea


Dr. Adam Gavine, newly certified SDCA trainer from Australia, has been invited to lecture at the last SDCA course in Seoul on July 24, 2016. He was supported by Dr. Jah-Man Lee, newly certified SDCA trainer from Korea and shock wave expert.
The course was mostly focused on hands-on training.
Follow Adam Gavine who is a Sports Chiropractor and a musculoskeletal specialist based in Sydney.

China meets SDCA shock wave expert from Italy


Dr. Antonio Ammendolia, SDCA official trainer based in Catanzaro, Sicily, specialist in Ortho Trauma Surgery and Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine, was invited as key speaker during the 3rd Shock Wave Congress which took place in Beijing on December 19, 2015. More than 500 professionals came from all around China to participate in this top event.
After this success, Dr. Ammendolia has been invited for the second time by EMS China, from June 23 to 26, 2016, to perform SDCA trainings and share his shock wave expertise in the Jiangsu province (Suzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing).

2nd successful SDCA Asia Pacific Train-the-Trainer event


The 2nd SDCA Asia Pacific Train-the-Trainer Meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on May 28th was a great success ! 
36 participants representing 12 countries (Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand) attended the event and were thoroughly engaged.
20 practitioners with different profiles updated themselves in the Shock Wave field and became SDCA certified trainers.

Iran signs up for SDCA training excellence
